How to get a Libyan Tourist Visa?

1. Check your passport before applying for visa:

• Your passport should not contain any entry stamps to Israel.

• Your passport must be valid 6 months after return to your country

• Your passport must show 2 (two) empty pages.

• A valid credit card on arrival / or cash in the amount of USD 1,000 or equivalent

2. There are two options to get the visa:

• in the Libyan Embassy of your country. This involves filling out a visa application form and sending this to the consulate with your passport, photos, payment and a visa authorization from Waradd Company.

• on arrival in Libya. In this case you get an authorization letter two days prior to your arrival confirming the visa is awaiting you. You should present a copy of this document at the check-in counter of your airline company. Your passport details will be needed min. 2 (two) weeks prior to your travel date.  Therefore, please understand that we cannot accept any bookings less than 2 (two) weeks before your scheduled journey.

3. Visa fees:

• Visa costs are not included in our prices.

4. Passport Registration:

• Foreign passports must be registered at the Libyan Office of Immigration within three days after arrival. As being responsible for your entry visa this service will be rendered by Waradd Company. The fees are not included in our prices.
